Update fire incident

We would like to continue to inform you of the impact of the fire incident that took place at our Tildonk production site last Wednesday, May 1. In the meantime, our employees, together with a team of experts, have made a thorough overview of the damage incurred and its consequences.
What is the damage?
The shipping department, to which the fire was confined, has been completely destroyed. Our building as a whole, machinery and stock are partially hit by the smoke. These areas are currently being professionally cleaned by a specialist company consisting of over 40 workers. The cleaning work should take about 3 weeks in total. Fortunately, we can gradually restart a number of departments to return to full capacity as soon as possible.

What happens now?
- Part of the production will resume on Monday, May 13. We are targeting the production of belts and flap discs.
- During the week of May 13, at the latest, all orders pending and received after 30/04 will be (re)confirmed with a new delivery date.
- The Rebel One production is safeguarded and can continue production.
- The shipping department can also restart on Monday, May 13.
- The inside sales department will be available again from Tuesday, May 7 through the known channels.

Update May 14th
Meanwhile, almost 2 weeks have passed since the fire incident at our Tildonk production site. Thanks to the great efforts of our employees and by placing a temporary workshop on our premises, we can inform you of the progress below:
- As of today, the production of belts and flap discs has been restarted.
- Order picking and shipping is also operational again.
- Our people are first focusing on clearing the backlog of the past weeks.
As we are slowly but surely returning to normal operations, we will hereby conclude sending out these general updates.
