The fastening systems
Lockit®/Roloc®
The Lockit®/Roloc® discs have a nylon plate with a screw thread.
This screw thread fits with the holder fastening system.
These discs fit on all Lockit®, and Roloc® holders.
A half-turn is all you need to change the disc.

Socatt®
Socatt® discs have a metal fastening plate on the disc and a quick-change bracket in the holder.
Socatt® guarantees a safe, durable fixing.
One manual turn is all you need to change the disc.
Socatt® is the most popular quick-change system worldwide.
All Socatt® quick-change discs also fit in any Speed-Lock holder.
Structure of the discs
Quick Change discs are flap discs and the backing typically has multiple layers (2ply = 2 layers).
The advantage of this is that they have a much longer lifespan and can guarantee faster stock removal.
Flap discs can be used under very high pressure and resistance.
