In-house production in Belgium

At Cibo, we manufacture a large part of our grinding and polishing materials ourselves, in Tildonk, Belgium. Thanks to our extensive machinery, we can work efficiently and precisely, delivering custom solutions that truly meet your needs.

Additionally, we have a completely separate production site where our Rebel One Unitized products are made, allowing us to continuously ensure innovation, quality, and reliability.

Sustainable business practices

Cibo's Sustainability Policy

Our history

The name Cibo refers to the origin of the company, which was founded in 1948 by grandmother Gilles. She was a talented chemist and started a one-woman business producing self-shining floor polish products. Floor polish was soon complemented with everything related to wood sanding.

After the takeover in 1978 by the youngest son, Dominique Gilles, the company shifted its focus from wood finishing to metal surface treatment, a very successful choice. In 2017, CEO Dominique Gilles announced the transfer of the company’s leadership to the third generation. Bram and Sophie Gilles have now taken the reins of the company.
