S/C - Tex grip discs
Tex grip disc TGR S/C features nylon fibres bonded into a three-dimensional web structure with thermosetting synthetic resin and silicon carbide abrasive grain. The elastic, open structure provides an even and consistent finish without affecting the geometry of the workpiece. Compared with aluminium oxide, silicon carbide produces a finer, more uniform and matt finish. It is primarily used for decorative finishing.

In contrast to classic abrasive materials, the grit size of Tex is indicated by letter combinations.
